Worcester Mass: Theresa Eckstrom has been hired as Home Staff’s new Operations Manager. Her career actually started at Home Staff in 1980 as a coordinator. Theresa has held several positions in the home care field mostly at Elder Care Services of Worcester for the past 28 years. She has gained vast experience in the home healthcare industry through her various positions serving as Case Manager, Supervisor, Director of Case Management, and Director of Programs and Community Relations.

“We are delighted to have Theresa back,” says Angela Rocheleau, Home Staff CEO. “She has wonderful professional knowledge of our industry and is well known and respected. She will be a great asset and team member for our current and expanding service areas.”

Ms. Ecksrom has an undergraduate degree from Framingham State University and a graduate degree from Worcester State University. She is a licensed social worker and a certified trainer in The Matter of Balance course and the My Life, My Health course which are both evidence-based programs. ”I am excited to come home to Home Staff after all these years,” she says.

Angela Rocheleau, CEO of Home Staff LLC, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau of Central New England for 2011-12.

Ms. Rocheleau also serves on the boards of Mass Home Care Council and the Service Committee for Elder Services of Worcester. As a graduate of Worcester State University and a veteran of the healthcare industry, Ms. Rocheleau was appointed as CEO of Home Staff in April 2008 when Home Staff was acquired in a joint venture by Fallon Community Health Plan and the VNA Care Network. She leads a team of more than 500 full- and part-time employees.

Worcester, MA – The Better Business Bureau of Central New England (BBB) has announced the additon of two new members to it’s Board of Directors for 2011/2012.

The Board of Directors includes business leaders from Central and Western Massachusetts who share the BBB vision of an an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. The responsibilities of the BBB Board of Directors include determining the mission and purpose of the BBB ; providing financial oversight; ensuring legal and ethical integrity; approving businesses for Accreditation; and strengthening the BBB’s programs and services.
